Tanja Boehm’s Gardens by Design: branding & website
Introduction
Tanja Boehm’s Gardens by Design is a Dubai garden design practice for clients who want a garden thought through from start to finish. Tanja wanted to be seen as a designer first, not a pool company or general landscaper. We created her brand, art direction and website to make that clear to clients who want a garden thought through from start to finish, and so the right clients in the UAE get in touch.

The brief
Tanja’s previous website lacked a clear strategy and she felt it was disconnected from her work. It also left people seeing a landscaper or planting service rather than a full design practice. Her new brand and website needed to feel clear and professional, and to encourage the right enquiries.
Brand positioning & Identity
Across three online strategy sessions, we shaped how Tanja’s practice presents itself and her design philosophy, including design-led thinking, a contemporary-elegant aesthetic and climate awareness. We explored alternative brand names before keeping Gardens by Design, then built her identity: primary and secondary logos, illustrations and patterns, colours, typography and a brand style guide.
Art direction
Tanja’s imagery needed to feel warm and natural rather than staged. We wrote an art direction guide for her UK location house shoot with photographer Jade Alana, managed the styling on the day and helped choose the final images afterwards. Tanja’s existing portfolio photography was adjusted to sit alongside the new work.
Website design and copywriting
A page-by-page layout plan came first, then we built the site on Squarespace, with pages for home, about, services, portfolio, blog and contact. Professional copywriting and blog articles put Tanja’s design thinking into words, keeping SEO in mind and the key questions her ideal clients would be searching for. Her contact page enquiry form is designed to facilitate conversions, so while it looks short at first, it expands using condition logic to ask for more detail where required. Visit the live site.
The impact
Tanja’s site went live late summer 2026, bringing her brand, imagery and messaging together in one place. Tanja called it “better than I could ever have imagined” and said it “finally communicates what I actually believe about garden design and what I’m trying to achieve with my work”.
Conclusion
Tanja’s Gardens by Design now has a brand and website that present the practice as a design studio, in its own voice and with imagery that suits the work.
