The Rose Shed

Brief

After 11 years in business, floral designer Rachel Husband was ready to see her brand feel settled and reflect her high-end standing. Her current site felt misaligned and in need of more design input, so her brief became a full transformation: a streamlined, cohesive brand identity and a custom-built website.

Person holding a large wedding bouquet featuring white ranunculus, pale roses, lilac and delicate green foliage

Rachel’s journey began with an in-person brand strategy session at The Newt in Somerset. Working closely with her, we conducted a comprehensive customer journey review, a detailed wireframe build and brought in dedicated copywriter to craft text that would truly clarify her unique brand story.

Flat lay of wedding stationery including a flower care card proposal letter and embossed cards reading happily ever after

The project proceeded in careful, deliberate stages, culminating in a beautiful custom-coded website. In Rachel’s words, "I’m so pleased… it is exactly what I had envisaged". We also addressed complex technical requirements, including importing her historical blog archive while preserving her SEO.

The choice of Squarespace for the build allowed us to add custom-code as well as streamline things for Rachel, giving her ease and functionality. Rachel needed a dependable, easy-to-manage platform for the long haul. We ensured the customer journey flowed logically and that the migration of over a decade’s worth of SEO-valuable blog content was handled carefully. We ensured the beauty of the designs was sitting on a sturdy foundation.
