Doverfield Designs

Brief

Doverfield Designs is led by founder and designer, Claudine. She had successfully setup her business and was ready to elevate its online presence to match her growing success and clarified vision. At the core of the project was a sophisticated and impactful brand identity that would serve as a foundation for a new, results-driven website. Claudine required a full suite of brand assets and a digital home—featuring key pages, a robust portfolio and a clear customer journey—that would attract her ideal clients in the London & South East interior design market.

We developed a complete brand identity for Claudine, delivering mockups, a full logo suite and a comprehensive brand style guide. We then applied this distinct visual language to Claudine’s website, with a focus on SEO and responsive design. To ensure the messaging was as compelling as the designs, we worked closely with an expert copywriter to craft professional content for the core pages, reinforcing the customer journey mapped out at the wireframe stage. The project also included a Brand Buzz bolt-on to help Claudine strategically introduce her new identity on Instagram, ensuring a cohesive and authentic launch.

Claudine’s new website and brand identity all went to plan, providing Doverfield Designs with a beautiful, functional and professionally branded platform. Upon launch, Claudine expressed that she was "absolutely thrilled to have it live" and that the final wireframe looked "really fab". To ensure long-term success, we closed the project with a dedicated training and handover session, giving Claudine the confidence to manage her new site and continue building her online presence, including content on her blog.

A successful project is always a partnership and we worked closely and iteratively collaboration with Claudine. From the initial brand strategy session, we worked together to distill her personal design philosophy—one rooted in timeless elegance and sophisticated, yet comfortable, residential spaces. We moved through a structured process of moodboarding, wireframing and design reviews, ensuring that every element, from the bespoke colour palette to the choice of typography, felt authentic to her vision.

The visual identity and website design drew inspiration directly from the principles of classical and contemporary interior architecture that Claudine embodies. We intentionally selected a restrained, yet luxurious, colour palette that uses deep, muted tones and rich textures, mirroring the quality materials and sophisticated atmosphere found in Claudine's completed projects.

While the immediate goal for Claudine was a successful launch, we designed with an eye towards her future scalability. Claudine has ambitions for growth and potential expansion into commercial projects so we developed her brand style guide to be robust enough to handle new sub-brands or service tiers.
